TULIPS CALL IT THE SPRING PRINCESSES

These type of tulips (that almost look like irises) are found beneath the statue of Queen Victoria on Parliment Hill.
There are flowers, and then there are flowers: flowers, fill with cultures, flowers with an empire's worth of history behind them, flowers whose form and color and scent, whose very genes carry reflections of people's ideas and desires.
The tulip is without question fit for a queen.

The poppy flower has been the inspiration for many poets and artists and one of the most famous paintings is Claude Monet's "Poppy Fields at Argenteuil" (1873).
